The Lady Chapel on the Coudewater Estate near Hertogenbosch, is an extraordinary spiritual and artistic center in central Netherlands. Marie-Astrid Vermaas, a long-standing student of Alan Fraser's Piano Somatics, has created a festival that brings the Feldenkrais Method and musical performance together in a vibrant, emotionally rich artistic atmosphere. The festival will include live performances, master classes, group Feldenkrais lessons and workshops on Pianimals, the first piano method based on the Feldenkrais Method.
This festival welcomes ALL INTERESTED PIANISTS:
There is no limit to improvement!
OPEN TO OTHERS AS WELL
Instrumentalists and vocalists are also invited to attend the festival: Fraser's application of Feldenkrais ideas to musical performance works equally well no matter what your instrument.
