Alan Fraser taught in the DC area for two weeks this April and the response was so positive, a Summer Institute is planned at Jordan Kitts Music
on Lee Highway in Fairfax.
The Institute is OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED PIANISTS:
Sometimes teacher and student attend together. The teacher can learn both through his or her own lesson and by watching Professor Fraser work with the student.
Each day, participants will have a 50-minute individual piano lesson with Professor Fraser, a group Feldenkrais lesson, a lecture on piano technique, and observation of all other lessons. Those who cannot attend all the daily activities may register for single individual lessons.
Saturday is a short day because the hall is needed for an outside concert that evening.

Marjorie Lee has been a driving force for piano pedagogy in the DC area for several decades. Her studio has produced countless eminently capable pianists both amateur and professional, and she herself still maintains an active stage career.
Unfortunately, Professor Lee will be out of town for this institute. She is still willing to answer questions about Alan Fraser's teaching and the details of registering for the institute.
