Because all our participants this year are from the Toronto area, we have decided to move the Ottawa institute to two locations in downtown Toronto.
LOCATION 1: UNVERSITY OF TORONTO
The morning/afternoon session is a closed Institute available to University of Toronto students & staff only. The sessions will consist of

LOCATION 2: PRIVATE STUDIO
The late afernoon/evening session held in a private studio in East Toronto will be similar in structure to the U of T event, but will be OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED PIANISTS:

The Edward Johnson Building is located at

There is no shortage of hotel rooms and airbnb places to stay in central Toronto. There are many restaurants in the area as well as high quality coffee joints.
The active participation fee for the CLOSED UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO SESSION covers THREE individual lessons, daily group ATM lesson, daily seminar lecture, and observation of all other lessons. Auditors participate fully but receive no individual lessons.
The active participation fee for the OPEN EVENING SESSION covers TWO individual lessons, daily group ATM lesson, daily seminar lecture, and observation of all other lessons. Auditors participate fully but receive no individual lessons.

Fees for the Alan Fraser Piano Institute cover venue rental costs, travel costs, administration and website costs as well as Professor Fraser's teaching fees. Accommodation and meal costs are paid separately.

Canadian pianist Alan Fraser gives master classes and recitals worldwide and conducts ongoing research and refinement on the ideas put forth in his three books, The Craft of Piano Playing (also in DVD), Honing the Pianistic Self-Image, and All Thumbs: Well-Coordinated Piano Technique. Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your registration, reimbursement will be as follows: Cancellations before May 1: 100% reimbursement. Cancellations before May 15: 75% reimbursement. Cancellations before May 31: 50% reimbursement. Cancellations before June 15: 25% reimbursement. Cancellations after June 15: no reimbursement unless except in cases of doctor-certified illness or acts of God. We reserve the right to cancel the institute due to insufficient enrolment; in this eventuality all resgistration fees will be fully refunded.
