LAMBDA SCHOOLOF MUSIC & FINE ARTS, PIERREFONDS, QUEBEC

Canada's premier piano somatics event this year

In 2008 Angela Chan founded the Lambda School of Music & Fine Arts, bringing the highest quality musical and artistic education to Montreal's West Island. Prof. Chan is a graduate of Concordia University's Leonardo Project, the brainchild of Phil Cohen who pioneered many new techniques in linking the body to musical performance: "shaping the invisible." These are the techiques Prof. Chan uses to work her miracles in developing the abilities of young pianists. Alan Fraser has also worked for over thirty years with Phil Cohen, and brings a similar slant to his approach, with added dimensions of Feldenkrais Method and the virtuosity of Kemal Gekic.

SPECIAL SESSION FOR LOCAL TEACHERS

If you are one such teacher and would like to reserve a lesson or participate in the special session, please contact Dr. Angela Chan to arrange it.
