This is a small-scale Institute with no Awareness Through Movement lessons. However on the plus side, in addition to pianists Professor Fraser often works with other instrumentalists and singers at Studio Mauck. The lessons take place either in Mirka's studio or occasionally at her home.

ALAN FRASER

Canadian pianist Alan Fraser gives master classes and recitals worldwide and conducts ongoing research and refinement on the ideas put forth in his three books, The Craft of Piano Playing (also in DVD), Honing the Pianistic Self-Image, and All Thumbs: Well-Coordinated Piano Technique. MIRKA MAUCK

Pianist and Feldenkrais practitioner Mirka Mauck began working with Alan Fraser in 2002. Her long-standing interest in movement and piano technique led her to invite Professor Fraser to Hamm shortly after their first meeting. He has been teaching regularly there ever since.
