This mini-Institute is scheduled to coincide with the Heidelberg Spring Festival. Thursday evening April 19, Thomas Hampson sings a lieder recital which is always one of the highlights of the festival. „If you are interested to visit this concert, please visit here for further information and booking.

The Institute itself takes place in the studio of Jens Schlichting, classical and jazz pianist, improvisor and composer, with the ATM lessons held across the street at the local music school, where there will also be practice pianos made available for participants.

Alan Fraser teaches in English, and there will be German translation available if needed. This is the fifth Alan Fraser Institute to be held at Klavierstudio Hirschberg.

MEALS

There are a few eateries within walking distance of the studio, and the Schlichting family will provide certain meals. Meal expenses are paid separately from tuition fees.
