Audrey Dumont has studied with Alan Fraser since 2014 and began hosting institutes in 2018. This September marks the fourth Dijon Alan Fraser Piano Institute. Practice facilities will be available at a neighbouring studio, where the Feldenkrais lessons will also take place.
Fraser is fluent in both English and French, and uses the participant's native tongue wherever possible.
Many relatively inexperienced pianists hesitate to attend an institute, feeling they are not good enough or not well-enough prepared. However, we are all here to learn, and this approach can help all of us, no matter how well-prepared or ill-prepared our program. Thus the Institute really is OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED PIANISTS:

There is no shortage of restaurants in Dijon, although there are none in the immediate area. We will share a picnic lunch, or one participant will be designated to cook for us each day! Food costs are separate from the institute fees.

PIanist, gardener and poet Audrey Dumont graduated from the Dijon Conservatoire, and received her Master's in Piano Pedagogy from Lausanne Conservatoire. She teadhes piano in Dijon and Langres, and plays solo and chamber recitals as well as animating musico-poetical-choreographical happenings. She is a member of the Trio Frattale.
