Individual residency lessons in downtown Toronto

Alan is spending just a couple of days in the Toronto area this year, and he'd be happy to work with you in a convenient studio, or even have a lesson at your own residence.

OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED PIANISTS:
  • students who wish to improve their sound and agility
  • amateurs who wish to feel more in command of the instrument
  • teachers who want new ways of teaching technique to their students
  • professionals who wish to hone their skills to the highest possible level.

LODGING

There is no shortage of hotel rooms and airbnb places to stay in central Toronto.
There are many restaurants in the area as well as high quality coffee joints.

FEES & REGISTRATION

The active participation fee for the CLOSED UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO SESSION covers THREE individual lessons, daily group ATM lesson, daily seminar lecture, and observation of all other lessons. Auditors participate fully but receive no individual lessons.

The active participation fee for the OPEN EVENING SESSION covers TWO individual lessons, daily group ATM lesson, daily seminar lecture, and observation of all other lessons. Auditors participate fully but receive no individual lessons.

Those who do not wish to attend all the institute proceedings may come in for a private lesson. Sign up using the tables below.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your sessions(s), reimbursement will be as follows:
Cancellations more than two months before residency opening date: 100% reimbursement.
Cancellations more than one month before residency opening date: 75% reimbursement.
Cancellations more than two weeks before residency opening date: 50% reimbursement.
Cancellations more than one week before residency opening date: 25% reimbursement.
Cancellations less than one week before residency opening date: no reimbursement except in cases of doctor-certified illness or acts of God.
We reserve the right to cancel the residency; in this event, all registration fees are fully refundable.
