In 1989 Alan had been studying with Kemal Gekic only a few months, but the results were already beginning to show. These recordings were made in a Place des Arts rehearsal studio as a booking mixup denied the team the hall at the last minute. Thanks to Gilles Losier for saving the day and regulating the Steinway D wonderfully.
