This is a small-scale Institute with no lecture and no Awareness Through Movement lessons. Those who register for a lesson may observe the other lessons that day for a small additional fee to be paid on site.
Many relatively inexperienced pianists hesitate to attend an institute, feeling they are not good enough or not well-enough prepared. However, Alan Fraser insists that we are all here to learn and this approach can help all of us, no matter whether our program is well-prepared or in a shambles. Thus the Institute really is open to all interested pianists:
