Alan Fraser brings Piano Somatics to New York City this summer with a 3-day residency early July.
This approach helps pianists regardless of their level. If you wish to learn, you are welcome no matter how well-prepared or unprepared your program may be. This residency really is open to all interested pianists:
There is no limit to improvement!
INSTITUTE LESSON RECORDINGS
All lessons are recorded on video (unless the participant requests otherwise), and are stored in the Institute video library at pianotechniqe.org. There is a small subscription fee for this service, separate from the institute registration fee, but it is well worth it. Every lesson is packed full of information and experience, and it is in the review process that participants often report their greatest progress, their most impressive breakthroughs. Subscribers also have access to tutorial series curated especially for pianotechnique.org, and to their own personal libraries where all their lesson videos are gathered in one convenient place - making the review process even more rewarding. Participants receive instructions by email following the institute for video access to their lessons, ATMs and ATPMs.
Individual sessions will be held at a rental studio to be determined. Schedule your private lessons here, with the help of our retail partner, Stripe.com. If you qualify for a student discount, you will receive a partial refund on this payment.
Questions about these sessions? Need to schedule your lesson time? Please don't hesitate to email us.
After registering, please return here to fill out the DETAILED PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION FORM...
... and after you have completed your sessions, please come back to fill out this FOLLOWUP QUESTIONNAIRE. This helps evaluate your experience, tailor your ongoing regime to facilitate further progress, and fine-tune the institute structure to better meet your needs.
